How is your fundraising going? Do you have a bunch of fun fundraiser events and campaigns scheduled? Doing the same successful ideas that you’ve done over and over the last few years?
Have you heard of Matching Gifts… No?
Well how do you feel about “free money?” That’s basically what a matching gift is.
You can continue to have amazing events and fundraisers and raise the funds the same way you always have, but how about we double those numbers!
See companies below that we know match your donation. All you have to do is let them know you’ve donated and if you, a team walker, a spouse, a relative work there…have them submit a request to match donations. How does that sound?
If you see a company you are connected with contact them! It’s that simple.
Call the Light The Night Staff at (508) 810-1342 if you have any more questions about Matching Gifts!

For several years we have had repeat volunteers come help at registration, the snack tent, set-up and breakdown, etc to bring a smile, great energy and an overwhelming sense of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s mission. We are all sharing The Light The Night experience to fight the fight against cancers. Amy is a returning volunteer in Nashua. She comes with the Independent Karate School every year to help out.
The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society has been a spark of life for me: a representation of a new beginning. I have been involved with the organization not only through volunteering at Light the Night, where I watched valorous walkers show their strength against looming contingencies, but also by running three marathons with Team in Training, fueled by the stories and strength of others. This involvement was certainly empowered by the confidence I have gained through 15+ years of IKS martial arts practice.
Please visit us at http://www.lightthenight.org/ways/volunteer/ and go to the closest walk to you to sign up! You can also call (508) 810-1342 to speak directly to a campaign specialist and get access to the Volunteer Application right away!
We can’t wait to see you this Fall! And thank you in advance for giving your time to the mission and our amazing Light The Night Walks!
