March is Myeloma Awareness Month, providing an opportunity to shine a spotlight on the many advances in treatment for multiple myeloma (MM) and the urgent need for continued research. For patients diagnosed with MM, the future is more promising than ever. Survival has more than tripled in the last 40 years.LLS has a strong commitment to advancing therapies for myeloma. In 2013 alone, LLS committed $9.7 million to myeloma research, funding 24 grants and four Therapy Acceleration Program (TAP) projects.
